Privacy Policy

SHIPPOP COMPANY LIMITED (“SHIPPOP” or “We”) recognizes the importance of your personal information and privacy, as well as that of those who are under your supervision. Therefore, this Privacy Policy is meant to explain our practices regarding the collection, use or disclosure of personal data, as well as other rights of the data subject under the Personal Data Protection Law (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy is only intended to cover your personal data collected from the use of our services or the platforms controlled by us, regardless of the country or region where our services are being provided.

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”)is considered as part of the Term of Use. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your personal data and the method we use with your personal data before using this website or application. Getting access to our platforms or using our services means that you understand and accept this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy is written in English and Thai language. In the event of conflict or discrepancy between English and Thai language, the Thai language shall prevail over.

Our customers, including, but not limited to, those who purchase our goods and/or use our services, those who purchase goods or use the services from us, our registered members, participants in our activities, visitors of any of our existing or future channels, or any other persons having similar characteristics.

Directors, employees, contact persons, legal representatives, or authorized persons of our corporate customers. In this case, we recommend our corporate customer to ensure that such persons have acknowledged this Privacy Policy.

Individuals who are not our customers, but we need to collect and process personal data of such persons in order to carry out transactions between us and our customers. Such persons may include a consignee, a sender, etc.

contact information such as phone number, e-mail, and address;

parcel and insurance information such as shipment information, parcel number, consignment, amount delivered parcel;

payment information such as bank account information, bankbook, credit card number, COD amount, payment receipt;

information relating to your access or use of our services/platforms such as IP address, Cookies;
7)
information provided, sent, or uploaded by you through our platforms such as user name, password, e-mail, data files;
8)
social media account information (in case your user account is registered with your Facebook account);
9)
information that associates with our platforms such as browser type, domain name, a web page that you accessed, access time, and referring websites address, and geographic data;
10)
your feedback related to our services.

Source of Personal Data

We may collect your personal data from a variety of sources, including:

account or membership registration, filling or submitting information through our websites, applications, or other channels;

your access and use of our website or applications which include cookies and other internet tracking software;

purchasing our products and/or using our services through our online or offline platform;

We cannot endorse or warrant any statement or actions as announced by such third parties, websites or channels and will not be responsible for any operation or proceed that does not comply with the privacy policy of such third parties, websites or channels.

Use of Personal Data

We will collect, store, share, update, process, and use the personal information mentioned above under the Term of Use, this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and your consent. For instance, we may process your personal data for the following purposes:

research, analysis, survey, discrimination and forecasting of statistical, marketing, and behavioral related to business or relevant activities data and related behavior in business or related activities (Marketing and Data Analysis), which allows us to truly fulfill your needs;

our reorganization, merger, sale, transfer, investment or similar event, in which your personal data is required to be disclosed and transferred to any third party as part of that transaction;

You may be required to submit an image or a copy of your ID card for the purpose of conducting an identity authentication and verification, which may allow us to obtain your sensitive data that we do not intend to collect and process, such as religious data, which is not necessary for our purpose. To maintain your privacy, you may conceal such sensitive data before disclosing any materials containing such sensitive data.

We may ask for your consent to process your personal data in accordance with applicable laws. In case we collect, store, update, share, process and use your personal data other than the above purposes, we will update this Privacy Policy and we will seek your additional consent if necessary.

In the event that the data subject is under the age of majority and incapable of entering into and performing legally binding contracts under Thai laws, the parent or guardian of such person must grant consent for processing the personal data of such person.

Right to withdraw consent: If you have given consent to us to collect, use or disclose your personal data whether before or after the effective date of the PDPA, you have the right to withdraw such consent by managing your privacy in your account or contact us at any time throughout the period your personal data is available to us.
8.2
Right to access: You have the right to access your personal data that is under our responsibility; to request us to make a copy of such data for you, and to request us to reveal how we obtain your personal data.
8.3
Right to data portability: You have the right to obtain your personal data if we organize such personal data in automatic machine-readable or usable format and can be processed or disclosed by automatic means; to request us to send or transfer the personal data in such format directly to other data controllers if doable by automatic means, and to request to obtain the personal data in such format sent or transferred by us directly to other data controllers unless not technically feasible.

Right to objection: You have the right to object to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time if such doing is conducted for legitimate interests of us, corporation, or individual which is within your reasonable expectation; or for carrying out public tasks.

Right to erasure or destruction: You have the right to request us to erase, destroy or anonymize your personal data if you believe that the collection, use or disclosure of your personal data is against relevant laws; or retention of the data by us is no longer necessary in connection with related purposes under this Privacy Policy; or when you request to withdraw your consent or to object to the processing as earlier described.

Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request us to suspend processing your personal data during the period where we examine your rectification or objection request; or when it is no longer necessary, and we must erase or destroy your personal data pursuant to relevant laws, but you request us to suspend the processing instead.

You may choose to receive any specific information, promotions or any marketing materials related to our services or products from the SHIPPOP by filling in the request to notify SHIPPOP.
